Debbie Lovas – Co-Founder & Instructor
Debbie Lovas is a 6th-degree black belt master in Taekwondo, a black belt in kickboxing, and a former MMA competitor. With extensive training in Silat, Jiu-Jitsu, Eskrima, and Lameko, she brings a diverse and practical approach to self-defense. As a co-founder and instructor at Patriot Combat System, Debbie is dedicated to empowering students with real-world skills, confidence, and resilience.
Dan Lovas – Founder & Head Instructor
Dan Lovas is the founder of Patriot Combat System and a highly skilled martial artist with over four decades of experience in self-defense and combat training. He holds an 8th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 3rd-degree black belt in Kodokan Jiu-Jitsu, and black belts in Silat and Kung Fu. A graduate of Eskrima and Tai Chi, Dan is also an instructor in Lameko and possesses an instructor’s degree in PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics) and Criminal Countermeasures. He is a Krav Maga instructor with deep expertise in both traditional and modern combat systems.
With a focus on practical, adaptable training, Dan ensures that every student learns effective, reality-based techniques to build confidence, skill, and the ability to protect themselves in any situation.
